Description
San Diego County : Anza Borrego Desert State Park
Palm Canyon is one of the more popular desert trails to walk near Borrego Springs. Relatively short with little elevation gain it strolls through a steep valley cut by spring waterflows into the San Ysidro Mountains. I arrived at dawn under an umbrella of stars and the setting moon's soft light showing the way. Encountering a stream at various points I removed my shoes and socks, rolled up my pants to wade through icy waters for views clear of tall brush. I set up my camera and waited as the moon dropped looking west.

Beautiful image. I really like the composition and the water soft texture.
William Dunigan replied:
Thanks Stefano, I was hoping a long exposure would make some nice, soft textures.

Another of your wonderful shots, William! It's perfect. Where were you standing to take it? On a rock? F
William Dunigan replied:
Thanks Bette, wish there had been a rock there but no such luck so I waded into the water.
