The Viedma Glacier is located in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, Chile and Argentina. On the Argentine side the glacier is part of the Los Glaciares National Park, Santa Cruz. The eastern sector of the glacier, where it flows into Lake Viedma.Es the Los Glaciares National Park largest glacier. Its rising is southeast of the Lautaro Volcano and has a length of 70 km, for this reason it is the longest glacier in South America. It is also known for the three bands of ash product of past eruption
